NC Egg Safety Training for Small Producers

Objective

This training is for small producers selling eggs through Farmers Markets, Cooperatives and CSAs. The training provides instruction to improve producers' understanding of egg safety. Training covers principles of egg safety plans, monitoring, current testing methods and consumer expectations, helping producers improve egg safety and quality. Attendees gain an understanding of the strategies needed to implement improvements to the safety of shell eggs.
