Objective
The Prestage Department of Poultry Science at NC State University continues to host the HACCP Roundtable, which provides educational programming on food safety and HACCP while fostering open dialogue on plant operations and inspection-related food safety concerns. The Roundtable brings together food industry professionals and regulatory partners, including representatives from USDA-FSIS and the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS), to share perspectives, address common challenges affecting establishments, and strengthen communication and working relationships among food safety professionals.
