Objective
The Prestage Department of Poultry Science at NC State University continues to host the HACCP Roundtable, a collaborative forum that brings together the meat and poultry industry, USDA-FSIS, NCDA, and the university. The Roundtable provides educational programming on food safety and HACCP while fostering open dialogue on plant operations and inspection-related food safety concerns. Through these discussions, participants gain practical insights, address shared challenges affecting their establishments, and strengthen communication and working relationships with USDA-FSIS Raleigh District and NCDA officials, as well as with fellow food safety professionals across the industry.Upcoming meeting
