Objective
The Prestage Department of Poultry Science at NC State University continues to host the HACCP Roundtable, a collaborative discussion among the meat and poultry industry, USDA-FSIS, NCDA, and the university. The purpose of this roundtable is to foster open communication on plant and inspection concerns related to food safety and to align university expertise with the industry’s most pressing needs. Through these discussions, participants gain meaningful insights, address shared challenges affecting their establishments, and strengthen connections with USDA-FSIS Raleigh District and NCDA officials, as well as fellow food safety professionals across the industry.
