Professor Peter Ferket Talks Pre-Hatch Gut Health

— Written By Rhea Hebert

In 2019, Peter Ferket, William Neal Reynolds Professor, talked with Poultry Health Today at the World Veterinary Poultry Association Congress in Bangkok, Thailand.

Poultry Health Today shared the brief interview (5:21:00), which focuses on the microbiome, or the organisms found in an animal’s gut.

Ferket emphasizes that gut health has to be considered early, even before an animal hatches.

The video and transcript are available online from Poultry Health Today.
