  • Have you always wanted to raise chickens, but weren’t sure where to start?
  • Do you have chickens, but want to know more about how to care for them?
  • Are you trying to be more connected with where your food comes from?

You’re in luck! A new series on pastured poultry is here to help you.

Margaret Ross, an Area Specialized Agent for poultry, worked with a large team to produce five videos on pastured poultry.

The videos, part of a larger project on pastured animals funded by a USDA-NIFA grant, are now available online for free for anyone interested in raising chickens (or goats or pigs or sheep).

Look for more information about the project coming soon, and until then, browse the videos and see how they can help you get started with chickens – or improve the chickens you already raise.
